Designer and Owner
Elsie de Wolfe, a 19th-century interior designer said: "I am going to make everything around me beautiful - that will be my life.” Whether your decor is modern farmhouse, traditional, mid-century modern or sticky fingerprint chic, the beauty we make cannot be found at home decor stores. For me, beauty is found in families gathered around a table in a home which tells their story. Our greatest desire is to come alongside you to create a comfortable, beautiful and unique space which reflects your unique and beautiful story. A home which welcomes strangers and loved ones alike. A place where all feel welcomed and loved. Please contact us with questions or to schedule a consultation.
Tricia is an independent interior designer based right here in Metro Detroit. Her specialty is space planning--maximizing space usage and balancing beauty with comfort. As for style, her personal favorite is a combo of old with new. And her favorite room in her house? Her living room. It’s her calm retreat in the middle of chaos. (There’s lots of chaos in a house with a husband and four kids—wouldn’t you want a room that makes you happy, too?) With her extensive background and education in both residential and commercial design, Tricia is an awesome designer, and you’ll love working with her.
Laura is a local artisan who designs home decor and gifts carried in our shop. She loves those small personal touches that inspire women and brighten up the home. Her current line includes hand-painted signs, hand-poured soy candles, and custom and restored furniture. And, of course, whatever else occurs to her crazy creative mind!
Megan creates the incredible graphics and drawn images found on our social media pages and many of our products. Plus, she keeps us middle-aged women up to date on Spring and Thyme hashtags and insta-stories. Megan is a gifted artist with a talent for hand lettering, photography, and painting. She offers her original art at the shop-make sure you check it out.
Karen is our organizer and our official handywoman. She paints, hangs wall art, mirrors and patiently holds pictures as Michelle has her move them inch by inch to find the right position. We contract with Karen through her incredible business Karen's Divine Order where she helps transform homes from chaos to peace.
